Historic Healthcare Bill Passed
The bill states that all Americans buy insurance or potentially face fines. It also calls for assistance for low-income families to help cover the cost of health insurance, and prevent insurance companies from denying coverage due to pre-existing conditions.
White House officials have indicated that President Obama hopes to have the bill on his desk before his State of the Union speech in late January, but others on Capitol Hill have forecasted that it will be difficult for Congress to meet that deadline.

KIG is pleased to announce that as of December 9, 2009, NextGen has been certified on the latest CCHIT criteria in the first month of testing, continuing to demonstrate our product’s leadership in the industry. We also tested against the ARRA meaningful use criteria and are certified on the comprehensive 2011 criteria with additional certification in Child Health and Cardiovascular.
